At its spring meeting, Stiftung Charité’s Board of Trustees approved almost 1.5 million euros to bring five internationally renowned scientists to Berlin. Together with their hosts from Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) and the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC), the Visiting Fellows will engage in innovative biomedical research over three years of funding. Stiftung Charité’s Visiting Fellows program strengthens research areas that are of strategic importance and furthers the internationalization of the life sciences hub that is Berlin.
