Stiftung Charité aims to keep the time between the application deadline and the final funding decision as brief as possible. For funding programs with annual calls, this period is approximately four months. In other programs, the process can be significantly shorter due to different program-specific selection procedures. For further details, please refer to the respective program websites.
Once a final funding decision has been reached, Stiftung Charité will promptly inform all applicants of the outcome via email. In the event of a positive decision, grant approval documents will be issued in both digital and printed form within a few weeks.
All selection processes are multi-stage. The final funding decision is usually made by Stiftung Charité’s Board of Trustees. For the Max Rubner Award, a specially appointed jury makes the final decision. Decisions regarding project and event funding are made by the Executive Board of Stiftung Charité.

The disbursement of funds from Stiftung Charité is handled by the third-party funding office of your institution.
