Stiftung Charité is providing EUR 900,000 to support Charité’s new Profile Partnerships Program, part of the university hospital’s Internationalization Strategy 2030. The funding enables strategically selected international collaborations in research, teaching, and patient care with partner institutions in Sweden, the United States and India.
The program has three strands: seed funding to initiate new collaborations (“Flexible Funds”); support for long-term, profile-defining projects such as joint professorships (“Signature Projects”); and fellowships to promote international mobility and build intercultural and language skills among staff, including managerial personnel (“International Talent Fellowship”). The aim is to deepen global collaboration and expand joint projects in university medicine across borders.
