“As part of the funded project, the basis for a data- and feedback-supported therapy was successfully established, which enables the individualised treatment of patients with mental illnesses such as depression and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Symptoms and diagnostic criteria are recorded regularly and in a standardised manner using a tablet-based system, which allows the therapy elements to be dynamically adapted to the current symptoms. In addition, the development of a comprehensive database has been initiated, which will be used in the long term for scientific analyses and the documentation of therapy successes. Initial studies on the prediction of therapy success, particularly in depressive patients, are already in preparation. A pre-registration of a research project has been successfully completed. The project not only led to a significant improvement in treatment standards but also to an expansion of the diagnostic and methodological expertise of those responsible. New findings inspired further project ideas and new members were recruited to the working through, strengthening the basis for future innovative approaches.”
